I’ve been following the tragic case of Stephanie Elizabeth Perez and her husband, Jose Luis, and something that really puzzles me is the location where they were found. The Sunrise and Autumn trails are such serene places, so for such a grim discovery to happen there—it’s just tragic. It makes me wonder why that spot was chosen. Was it a place they frequented before, maybe for hiking or enjoying nature? Or was it chosen for another reason?
It's just chilling to think of the pain Stephanie’s family must be experiencing, not only having her vanish for so long but then learning the details of her passing in such a devastating way. My heart goes out to them and to any friends who cared for both Jose and Stephanie. I hope the investigators can bring more answers to provide the family with some level of closure.
