I’ve been following the Louis Masgay case closely, and something that stands out to me is the role of forensic science in unraveling what happened to him. I can’t imagine what Masgay’s family went through, not knowing what happened to him for so long. The revelation must have been both devastating and a small relief to finally have answers. It’s a harsh reminder of how even the smallest details can make or break a case. Forensic science truly played a hero's part in bringing a dangerous murderer to justice.
