Has anyone else looked into Anna Schroeder's behavior at Kurt's funeral? I find it fascinating how her dramatic mourning didn't raise any suspicions at the time. It makes me wonder if people in small communities didn't want to believe that one of their own could be capable of such things. The community grief must’ve been immense after the loss of the Hauptreif children, yet Anna managed to elude their suspicions for so long. It's really chilling to think about how trust and perception can be manipulated. I can't help but feel for the families who thought they were watching a widow in mourning, not knowing the potential truth right in front of them. What are your thoughts?
