Gosh, I've spent a lot of time thinking about Vanessa Bennett. Can you imagine going from being a 3-year-old survivor of such evil acts to dealing with the aftermath all her life? She's shown incredible resilience speaking out in court about her struggles with depression and anxiety. It's a stark reminder of the hidden scars that survivors carry. While justice has been served with Ewing's conviction, it's important to remember the journey of healing that Vanessa and others like her still face. I'm really sending all my thoughts to her and hope she has a solid support system around her. ?
