I can't stop thinking about the potential challenges Veronica's family might face trying to get attention on the case given the possibility that they could be in Mexico. With local authorities unable to cross borders, and considering the time lapse since 2007, I'm worried that it makes it so much harder to keep this on people's radar. Does anyone know if there’s been any cooperation between U.S. and Mexican authorities since the abduction? It feels like international collaboration is crucial in cases like this, but I wonder how often it actually happens effectively. Would love to hear thoughts or info from those who are more familiar with cross-border cases.

It's been over a decade since Veronica and her brother Christian vanished, and while there's been a lot of speculation about their possible whereabouts in Mexico, what strikes me is the lack of movement or leads in their case. I'm curious if anyone here has more insight into the resources or steps taken to search across international borders, especially in such cases involving possible undocumented travel. I know issuing a warrant is one thing, but has there been any collaboration with Mexican authorities or organizations? Have they considered the possibility of new identities under those alias names? It seems like re-evaluating the approach might open up new avenues for finding these kids. If anyone has experience or info on international law enforcement collaboration, it would be invaluable.
