Hey everyone, I’ve been reading through the discussions about the tragic events surrounding John Robert Vicha and can't help but think about the long-term impact it must have had on his children. Growing up without a father is hard enough, but knowing he died trying to protect his family must be even more overwhelming. I wonder how the community supported Vicha’s kids in the aftermath. It’s comforting to see that the Waco Police Association still honors his memory, but I hope there were other forms of support for them as well. Does anyone know if there were any programs or scholarships set up for them, or if the community did anything special to help them through those tough times? Sending thoughts to all who were touched by this tragedy. ?
