Has anyone else been thinking about the strength it took for Cassidy Stay to survive that awful day? Her bravery is beyond words. It's just unimaginable to think how a young person can play dead after witnessing such horror unfold around her and then gather the courage to inform the police. Her actions likely prevented further tragedies and saved lives. I can't get over the resilience shown by this young girl. This case is so devastating, and the loss of the entire Stay family weighs heavily on my heart. My thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved them. How can we as a society ensure that their loss spurs meaningful change in addressing domestic violence issues?
It's truly unimaginable what Cassidy must have gone through and continues to endure. I was really struck by the outpouring of support that Cassidy received from both her local community and from people all around the country.
