I was reading about Cortez Wilson's case again, and something really stood out to me this time. It’s been so long without answers, and my heart is truly with his family who continue to live with such an unbearable silence. What I find so haunting is how this tragedy happened during a surge of violence that impacted so many others too. It makes me wonder if Cortez’s case is connected somehow to the other incidents that occurred that weekend. Could there be a common thread the investigators are still missing? I really hope that someone comes forward with information soon, not just for Cortez’s sake, but to help prevent these senseless acts of violence in Kansas City from happening again. If anyone reading this has any thoughts or leads, even something that might seem insignificant, it could be crucial. Every detail can help bring justice for Cortez and solace for those who loved him.
