While it’s gut-wrenching that the system couldn’t save her, her efforts to stand up for her safety and her children are truly commendable. It’s a stark reminder of how we need to reinforce protective measures for those enduring similar hardships. Lisa’s family’s advocacy for domestic violence awareness is vital—here's hoping it fosters change so victims have better resources and a greater chance for protection. Keeping Lisa's family and her little ones in my thoughts. ?
