It's been baffling me that Kevin's car was found so far from home, near Kennedy Meadows Trailhead. That's about an hour and a half drive from Pine Grove. I wonder if anyone has spotted him or his car on the route there during that time window? Did Kevin mention any plans to hike or explore that area to friends or family? The terrain there is pretty intense, especially with a high-flowing river nearby – risky for someone with memory issues. For those familiar with the area, is there any particular spot that someone might have ventured for a view or rest, perhaps inadvertently getting lost? Any insight could be crucial in helping the search teams focus their efforts.
