Has anyone looked into the possibility that Clay Rodman might have tried to reach out to someone he knew in Austin after being released from the Taylor County Jail? I know he didn't have a permanent residence at the time, but people often return to familiar places, especially in stressful situations. Maybe he had a friend or acquaintance in Austin he trusted. If anyone on here has local connections or knows of any leads in the Austin area, it might be worth revisiting. I'm curious if there's been any follow-up on that angle over the years. It feels like a part of the puzzle that's been overlooked. Thoughts?

I was reading through Clay Rodman's case, and something really struck me about the timing of his disappearance. He was last seen right after being released from Taylor County Jail on the 1st of May, 2013. Considering he had nowhere permanent to go and was staying at a Salvation Army, I'm curious about what other places someone in his situation might gravitate towards at that time in Abilene. Are there other shelters or locations in that area where people tend to go right after leaving jail? Maybe there's someone out there who remembers seeing him that day but never realized it was significant. I hope Clay’s family gets the answers they need.
