I’ve been following the Dominique Franklin case, and one aspect that really sticks with me is the role that cellphone records played in catching Frankie Lee Bell, Jr. It’s incredible how technology can aid justice. It's tragic thinking about how this senseless act ripped Dominique and Tarrant from their loved ones, and how technology ultimately helped hold at least one person accountable. Dominique and Tarrant's families have endured unimaginable pain. Knowing that there are tools like cellphone records that can assist police provides a small sense of hope for justice, but it doesn’t lessen the loss. My heart goes out to everyone affected and I hope they find some peace over time.
