I recently came across more information about the steps taken by the authorities to capture Jose Angel Becerra after he fled to Alabama. It seems like quite the effort was made to ensure he was brought back to Texas to face justice. The coordination between different state agencies and the dedication of the officers involved in his capture really stood out to me. It must have been a huge relief for Jesus's family when he was finally apprehended. The pain they went through, not only losing him but knowing that one of the culprits was on the run, must have been unimaginable. I'm glad to see the law enforcement community worked tirelessly to bring some measure of closure to such a tragic incident. If anyone else has more details on how this operation unfolded, I'd love to hear about it.
