Hey everyone, I just wanted to take a moment to talk about something that's been on my mind regarding Michelle Lee Bragg Southerland's passing. It's clear she was someone deeply cherished in her community, especially considering how her love for cooking and baking brought warmth and joy to those around her. I actually found out from a family friend who attended her memorial service that her culinary skills were just incredible; people referred to her cooking as a "hug on a plate." It makes me wonder if she might have shared some of her recipes with her daughters, Lauren and Cailyn, or if they have any family cookbooks that they've passed down. That would be such a beautiful way to honor her memory. Even though there’s no official investigation or information suggesting foul play in her death, I truly hope the family finds peace. It’s tough to suddenly lose someone who filled such a pivotal role in the household and community. My heart goes out to her children and family as they navigate life without her presence. If anyone else has thoughts or private insights about how the family is doing now or how the community is rallying behind them, I’d love to hear them. ?

I’ve been following the discussion about Michelle Southerland and wanted to share a small but beautiful detail I came across about her. Even though there's no indication her death was due to a crime, many of us are still deeply touched by her story. Apparently, she was known in her community for her incredible homemade pies. I read that during community events or school functions at her kids' schools, she was always the one everyone looked forward to seeing because she’d show up with a pie in hand, always ready to share and bring smiles. It’s amazing how these little acts of love can leave such a big mark. Thoughts with her family, especially Lauren, Cailyn, and Jackson, who are carrying on her love and generosity. ? Always hoping they find peace and strength in these memories.

Did anyone else find it interesting how Michelle's love for cooking and baking seemed to be a huge part of her identity? I can't stop thinking about how deeply she must have cared for her family and friends, always using her skills to make them feel at home. It's touching to hear how she poured her heart into each dish. I imagine her kitchen was always filled with warmth and laughter. If anyone has stories about her favorite recipes or moments shared over a meal, I'd love to hear about it. Cooking can be such a comforting, nurturing act, and I think it speaks volumes about who she was as a person. Sending thoughts to her family and kids—I can't imagine the void they must feel without her presence in their lives.
