Hey everyone, I recently came across Mary Elizabeth Weekly's case and something caught my attention. I noticed she vanished around the time when there was a considerable amount of construction going on in certain areas of St. Louis. Does anyone think it's possible she might have accidentally ended up in a construction zone? Maybe she got injured or worse, and nobody noticed? Back then, workers might not have had the same protocols for accidents or encounters like they would today. Just a thought, but if there are any old timers here or anyone who knows the history of St. Louis in the late '70s, maybe they could weigh in? It's a long shot, but sometimes little details open new avenues.
