I’ve been reading about Dorothy Jean Richardson’s case, and something I can’t stop thinking about is the fact that she was last seen leaving her house on foot. I live in a small town, and when someone is out walking, it’s usually two things: either heading to a nearby destination or catching a ride somewhere, especially in situations where the car isn’t working. Did anyone ever come forward about possibly seeing her that day around the neighborhood or offering her a ride? Seems like someone might have seen something, but it just didn't get reported or wasn’t remembered until after the fact. It's baffling that there's such a gap in what could’ve happened right after she left her house. Would love to hear if anyone has theories or knowledge about typical foot traffic at the time and place she went missing.
Has anyone else noticed the lack of media attention on Dorothy Jean Richardson's case over the years? It's so frustrating to see some cases get all the headlines while others like Dorothy's seem to slip through the cracks. I understand it's been decades, but we shouldn't let her story fade into obscurity. I've read that her disappearance is considered suspicious, yet we know so little about what happened that day. I wonder if there were any sightings or tips early on that were never properly followed up? With it being such a small town, I can't help but think someone knows more than they're letting on. If anyone has insights or ideas on how we can bring more awareness to her case, I'd love to hear your thoughts. It's never too late to keep the pressure on for answers.
