The mention of "General Delivery" caught my eye. That was a popular method back then for folks traveling or moving frequently. It makes me wonder if Fiala was actually settling down permanently or if he was just passing through. Maybe he intended to move on from Foxhole after some time? Also, working for the Highway Department suggests he could have been in remote areas often. Does anyone know if there were any major projects happening around that time in Fairbanks or the Fox area? That might help narrow down where he was last seen or who he was in contact with. Hoping someone out there might remember him or have a lead. ?
