Tallon David Parks was arrested and is serving 5 years for the death of Matthew Allen Causey. Matthew's Sisters were not actively advocating because they were all minor children. Matthew's biological father Paul Causey died July 2021 and didn't get to live to see his son's murderer arrested and convicted in his son's death. I (Matthew's biological mother) plan on attending every single parole hearings to request Tallon David Parks be denied for early release. All updates with the case can be found on the Harris County Criminal Court Records website and Texas Department of Criminal Justice Inmate Search website.

We have waited 5 LONG years to receive any semblance of Justice and although 5 year doesn't come close to paying for the life he took, it is however, better than probation or nothing at all.

Stella Hill

Thank you for sharing this important update. My heart goes out to you and your entire family for the unimaginable pain you've endured over these past five years. While no sentence can ever truly account for the loss of Matthew, your strength and determination to seek justice on his behalf is powerful and deeply moving.

It’s heartbreaking that Paul did not live to see some form of accountability in your son’s case. Please know that your continued advocacy, especially in standing up at every parole hearing, is not only a tribute to Matthew’s memory but also an act of courage that many admire.

Matthew will not be forgotten. His story matters—and so does the fight for justice that you and others have carried forward with such grace and tenacity. Standing with you in remembrance and solidarity.

Stella, so sorry to hear about your son. 5 years seems ridiculous for taking another persons life. Our justice system is so frustrating. :(
Did anyone else see the recent news segment about Matthew Allen Causey's case? It gave me chills. They interviewed his sisters, and it totally made me realize the ripple effect a tragedy like this has on a family. It's so hard imagining what they're going through, trying to cope with such a loss while also fighting for justice. I really admire their strength, especially in keeping the spotlight on getting answers and accountability. It's baffling to me that no one has been arrested yet. I hope the legal system in Texas steps up soon. Until then, keeping Matthew’s family in my thoughts.
Hey everyone,
I want to talk about something that caught my attention regarding Matthew Allen Causey's case. It's been over three years since his tragic death, and I can't help but feel frustrated about how stalled the investigation seems to be. I read in an article that the family is still pushing for accountability, which makes this situation even more disheartening.
How can it be that with so much time elapsed, no arrests have been made or suspects identified? I understand that investigations can be complex, but shouldn't there be more transparency or updates being given to the family? Their grief and ongoing fight for justice must feel like an endless uphill battle. It's genuinely gut-wrenching to think they still have no closure.
I know it's important for us to keep discussing this and spreading awareness—every share, comment, and conversation could potentially help bring new information to light. I just hope the Causey family can find the peace they deserve sooner rather than later. Anyone else following this case closely? What are your thoughts or theories?
I just came across the case of Matthew Allen Causey, and I’ve been following the family's intense journey for justice. One element that truly stood out to me was the determination of Matthew's sisters, Annastasia, Lilah, and Tara. They've been such pillars of strength for their parents and are fiercely advocating for their brother. It’s a reminder of how a tragedy doesn't just affect the individual, but the whole family is pulled into the struggle for answers.
Matthew's sisters have been vocal on social media, not only sharing fond memories and stories of their brother but also pushing for transparency and accountability in the investigation. It’s so touching to see siblings being so united and proactive, even when dealing with such a profound personal loss. I can't even imagine the pain of losing a sibling like that, yet they manage to channel their grief into seeking justice for Matthew.
It’s crucial that the community continues to support them, whether it's through the GoFundMe campaign or spreading awareness. They deserve answers and some sense of peace after everything they've been through. If anyone has any more updates or ways to help, please share. Let’s not let Matthew’s story fade without justice.
