Hi everyone,
I've been following Korie's case closely, and my heart goes out to her family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. Something that’s been sitting heavy on my mind is the community's role in all of this. I can't help but wonder how connected everyone feels, given the repeated violence in that area. It seems like there's an undercurrent of fear that might be preventing people from speaking up. I know it's a sensitive topic, but what efforts are currently in place to build trust between residents and law enforcement? Are there community outreach programs designed to foster a safer environment where people feel more comfortable sharing what they know? Strengthening these ties could be crucial in gathering the much-needed information to bring justice for Korie and others affected by such tragedies.
Appreciate hearing any insights from those familiar with the community or similar cases.
Stay safe, everyone.
I've been following Korie D. Hodges' case since it first happened, and it's deeply concerning that no arrests have been made yet. I really wish the community and law enforcement could work together more effectively because it's clear something needs to change. The ongoing violence in North St. Louis, particularly around Natural Bridge Avenue, is just so overwhelming, and it's tragic to see another promising young life cut short.
I was wondering if anyone else has thoughts on this—it feels like the neighborhood's reputation is affecting how much attention cases like Korie's get. These are real people with families who are desperate for answers and peace. It’s frustrating watching from the sidelines and feeling helpless while their loved ones are just waiting for any kind of resolution. Hoping more people come forward with information to help push this case forward. Anyone else know more about the efforts being made to increase safety in this area? We need real solutions, not just talk.
