I've been following Jeana Norton Allen's case, and something that really stands out to me is how dedicated she was to her work. Her role as a registered nurse at Heart to Heart Hospice is a testament to her compassionate nature. It's incredibly sad to lose such a caring individual who devoted herself to both her family and her patients. Hospice nurses provide such invaluable support to families during difficult times, and it’s just tragic that someone who gave so much to others had her life cut short in such a horrific way. I can’t imagine how those kids are dealing with this loss, losing both parents in such a traumatic manner. It’s a stark reminder of how precious life is and how things can change in the blink of an eye. I hope the GoFundMe campaign helps provide the children with some stability as they navigate their future. My heart goes out to everyone impacted by this tragedy. Please, if anyone is able, consider supporting the family or similar causes related to domestic violence awareness.

I wanted to talk about the somber candlelight vigil that was held for Jeana Norton Allen. I find it moving how the community came together to honor her memory and show love for her children. It must have been incredibly difficult for Jeana's friends and family, standing there in the glow of all those candles, each representing a person whose life was touched by her. It makes you see how deeply she was cared for by so many. I hope her children felt the strength and support from everyone who attended. This community really shows up for each other in times of darkness, and that makes a huge difference. If anyone who was there wants to share their experience or thoughts, I'm sure we'd all love to hear more about how it went.
