I've been pondering about Derrick's disappearance and something caught my attention. Does anyone know if there was any confirmed sighting or report of Derrick hitchhiking after he left the vehicle on Camp Robinson Rd? Given the circumstances, considering the argument with his father, it seems possible he might have tried to get a ride. Was there any mention of someone seeing him near a gas station or convenience store in the area? Hitchhikers often pause at such places, hoping to find someone headed their way. If he intended to reach his mom in Oklahoma, this could be a potential lead. Just thinking out loud, hoping we can piece together more about his last known movements.
