I wanted to talk about one aspect of Jorge's life that keeps coming back to me: his incredible talent and passion for music. It's remarkable how he didn't let being deaf stop him from indulging in what he loved. Watching his TikTok videos, it's clear that music was an integral part of who he was. His expressive signing and dancing to the rhythm, even if he couldn't hear it the way some of us do, was truly inspiring. It’s just devastating to think about how someone who brought so much light through such a unique expression is no longer with us. Music transcends barriers and Jorge proved that again and again. I also can’t help but admire his resilience and positivity, which he shared with so many online. To Jorge’s family and friends: I hope you find strength in knowing how deeply his spirit impacted others, even those who never met him in person. Jorge's legacy will continue to inspire a lot of us to live life with the same infectious energy and bravado.
