It’s absolutely devastating to hear about what happened to Eli Charo Cano-Cantu. I can't stop thinking about how his intentions were to simply help out a friend in need. From everything I've read, he seemed like the kind of person who was always willing to lend a hand to keep others safe. It's so unfair that his life was cut short because of senseless violence.
I'm wondering if anyone knows more about the security measures at the bar or in the surrounding area. Were there cameras that could help the investigation? Given how many shots were fired, you'd think there might be some footage or eyewitnesses who could provide more clues. It’s unimaginable for his children to grow up without their father, and any small lead might help the family find justice and some semblance of peace.
If anyone’s heard of updates from law enforcement or about any upcoming community support events for his family, it would be great to share here so more people can get involved. My thoughts are with his kids and his loved ones during this unimaginable time.

Did anyone else hear about Eli's coworker who was there that night? It sounds like he might be an important witness, given he was with Eli and even drove him to the hospital.
