I've been following the case of Erin Marigene Gilligan from Temple, and I have to say, the details about that phone call to Tommy Shelton's son in Hawaii are really sticking with me. I can't even begin to imagine what it must have been like for his son to receive such a chilling call. Getting that kind of news over the phone from a loved one, especially when you're so far away and helpless to do anything, is just unimaginable. It makes me think about how deeply these actions ripple outward, affecting so many people beyond the immediate situation. Erin and Tommy's families must be going through so much right now. I truly hope they find the strength to cope with such a distressing time. My heart goes out to Erin’s family, who are left to deal with the loss and find a way to piece their lives back together without her. This is such a reminder of how conflicts can escalate beyond control and lead to irreparable consequences.
