I’ve been following the tragic case of Ying Li, and I just can't get over how haunting her story is. It’s especially haunting knowing her family is still searching for answers, and frustrating that Robert Gross, who everyone seems to think is involved, hasn’t been charged with her murder. The details of Li's case are incredibly disturbing, and while he’s in prison on other serious charges, it doesn’t quite feel like justice for her yet. What really chills me is how someone can have such a violent past and still not face all justice for the worst of their acts. Gross was there at her apartment that night, which just can't be a coincidence. I understand the need for strong evidence to charge someone, but it’s hard not knowing how close they might be to finding something definitive. On a different note, I hope that anyone with even the smallest piece of information feels compelled to come forward. Sometimes it doesn't take much to turn a whole investigation around. My heart goes out to Ying’s family, and I really hope they can find peace and justice soon. It's just not right to leave them hanging like this.
