I’ve been following James Szekely’s case for a while, and something that really stands out to me is how deeply rooted he was in the East Hampton community. Given how involved he was, it’s puzzling that nobody seems to have seen or heard anything on the day he vanished. Was he perhaps planning to meet someone that day, or did he have any unusual appointments or errands planned? It seems strange that someone so connected could just disappear without a trace. I wonder if there might be someone out there with a small piece of overlooked information that could shed light on what happened. I really hope anyone in the area at that time who might remember something comes forward.
I’ve been following the Szekely case for a while, and something that strikes me is how involved James was in the community. It’s unusual for a person so well-known and active to just vanish without leaving a trace. I wonder if there were any local events or community gatherings around the time of his disappearance? Maybe someone who was there might recall seeing him or noticing something unusual. Community involvement sometimes means more eyes and ears around, and perhaps someone saw something that seemed insignificant at the time. With such a tight-knit community, it feels like it’s worth revisiting those connections. Anyone else have thoughts on how community involvement might play a role in finding new leads?
