Has anyone else been looking into the legal history of Mamie Nicole Shafer? I find it so concerning that someone with a prior felony conviction had possession of a firearm. It's tragic that this issue of felons having guns still persists despite laws against it. My heart truly goes out to David A. Laws' family and friends who are left dealing with the aftermath of this avoidable tragedy. It's something that must make the shock and grief even more intense for them. I can't imagine what his loved ones are going through right now, losing someone dear because of something like this. Does anyone know if there's been any community response or calls for action regarding this aspect of the case?
