I've been thinking a lot about Christina's case, especially the role of the GPS monitoring system. Her story is such a painful reminder of how systems meant to protect victims can sometimes fail them. How does a GPS monitor even work if cutting it off didn’t immediately send a more urgent alert to law enforcement? It’s baffling and frustrating. From what I've read, those devices are supposed to be foolproof, but clearly there’s a massive gap somewhere if this tragedy could happen. It’s terrifying to think this wasn't an isolated incident and could be a systemic issue. My heart goes out to Christina’s family, especially her mom, Carolyn, who has to relive this nightmare while pursuing justice. Hoping this case brings the necessary changes to prevent others from falling through the cracks.
