Is anyone familiar with the community's response after Franklin Sarver's death in 1980? It's been over four decades, and still, there seems to be a cloud of silence over what happened. Being from Hyndman myself, I’ve always heard whispers about the tragedy, but it's unnerving how little is actually known or talked about. It's like a piece of the town's history that doesn’t really get discussed openly, even though the Sarvers were such a foundational family in the area. I can’t imagine the strain this must have put on them—losing Franklin so tragically and then proceeding with life as if that gaping hole wasn’t ever there. For Paul Edward Sarver to have lived years after his brother’s passing without resolution is just so tough to comprehend. Who here thinks that unresolved cases impact community trust and memory? And to any locals, do you recall any changes in community behavior after Franklin’s death?
