I was thinking about the car mentioned in Fred Winner's case. Does anyone remember seeing a Lincoln Mark VII or Lincoln Continental around the area during that time? It's such a specific detail that stands out to me. Those cars weren't that common, and someone might recall seeing one given how flashy they can be. It makes me wonder if the killer was trying to blend in or if they were confident no one would notice. I feel for Winner’s family and the pain they’ve endured all these years without answers. If anyone did see that car or anything unusual back then, even if it seems insignificant, it could finally lead to some closure for his loved ones.
I was reading through some old articles and forum posts about Fred Winner's case, and I can't help but be struck by how familiar the killer seemed to be with Fred's routine. Taking such a significant amount of money in daylight right behind his own store suggests someone who either knew his habits well or had been watching him closely. It feels like it had to be someone local or at least someone who had spent time learning the area and Fred’s movements.
My heart goes out to Joy and the rest of Fred's family. They've been waiting for answers for so many years. It's awful to think that whoever did this might still be out there, living their life without facing the consequences of ending Fred's. I really hope anyone with even the slightest bit of information will have the courage to step forward. Sometimes, even the smallest detail can make a world of difference in cases like these. Sending strength to Fred's loved ones and hoping they get the closure they deserve.
