It's incredibly saddening to read about Cathy Swartz's case detailed in the recent news, especially considering the tragic circumstances. One thing I've been pondering is how Cathy's 9-month-old daughter was present in the apartment during the attack. It's chilling to think that such a young child was in the vicinity of such violence and yet remained unharmed. While I'm relieved that her daughter wasn't physically hurt, I can't help but wonder what kind of impact this event had on her later in life.
Cathy's family and friends must have gone through so much turmoil not only dealing with the loss of Cathy but also raising a child who would never get to know her mother. I really hope that with the case now having some resolution, her daughter may find some peace or answers as she learns more about her mom. It’s disheartening that Robert Waters took many secrets with him, but hopefully, those who loved Cathy can cherish her memory and find some semblance of justice and healing.
Has anyone else been following the updates in Cathy Swartz's case? The fact that her 9-month-old daughter was unharmed and found in her crib has always haunted me. It's terrifying to think about what could have happened to her if things had unfolded differently that day. It's a miracle she was spared, but it also makes me wonder if there was something about her presence that might have held back the killer or played into their decision-making. The entire situation is just tragic. Cathy's daughter's life was changed forever that day. Does anybody else have thoughts on this part of the case? It just breaks my heart to think about all the "what ifs" for Cathy's daughter growing up without her mom. Sending love to those who knew Cathy; she deserved so much more.
