I'm reminded today of the immense impact Dana had on her community, especially through her work at Stanwood Elementary. My thoughts are with all the families she touched through her role there. It breaks my heart to think about how those kids must feel, losing someone who was such a bright light at their school. It's tough to wrap my head around how such a tragedy could occur, and I can only hope that Dana's community finds the strength to heal. If anyone needs support or knows how we can assist the school or the affected family members, please share. It's during times like these that we must come together to honor Dana's memory by caring for one another.
Does anyone else keep thinking about Dana Remaley’s work at the schools? Hearing about what happened just leaves me feeling so heavy. From what I understand, she was incredibly dedicated to the kids at West Hempfield Elementary and had such a big heart for organizing events at Stanwood too. It’s hard to imagine the kind of void her passing has left for those children and her colleagues. As a parent, it breaks my heart to realize how her students must have been impacted when they learned about what happened. It’s such a reminder of how interconnected our lives are with our communities. Hope the school has provided some counseling for the students and staff who may need it. If anyone has updates on any support endeavours or memorials in her honor, please do share. It feels like such a crucial time to be there for each other.
