I came across Kermit's case while doing some reading on missing persons, and one detail sticks out to me. Wasn't it reported that he might need medical attention? If so, it makes it even more concerning given how long it's been. The desert can get really unforgiving, especially at night. I wonder if there was any search and rescue conducted around that area soon after he was reported missing. Has anyone looked into the weather conditions on the night Kermit disappeared? I was checking historical data and it seems like there was a heavy storm that evening, with strong winds and poor visibility. If he was walking in those conditions, it might have been disorienting. Plus, the area around Sacate Rd. is really rural and not well-lit, right? Makes me wonder if the weather might have played a part in his being hard to find or if it contributed to him getting lost. Do we know if search efforts took that into account?
