Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Kenneth Marshall, and I can't stop thinking about how many families are in a similar position, waiting for answers that might never come. Kenneth was just 23 when he was killed in 2010, and like so many others that year in Detroit, his case went cold. It’s so incredibly frustrating to hear that despite the advancements in forensic technology, there are still so many barriers to solving these crimes. One thing that stands out to me is the lack of witness cooperation. I get that fear of retaliation is real, but how can we create an environment where witnesses feel protected enough to come forward? Maybe there's a need for more comprehensive witness protection programs or community initiatives that build trust between residents and law enforcement. Marshall’s family deserves to know what happened to him. I can’t imagine the pain of not having closure. If there’s anyone out there who remembers something, no matter how small, it could make such a difference. Let’s hope the Cold Case Unit can make some headway and give his loved ones the justice they deserve. Sending strength to everyone affected by these unresolved tragedies. – ConcernedCitizen99
