I've been thinking a lot about Eric Braxton's friends and family. It's devastating to imagine losing someone who was such a positive force in their community. From what I’ve gathered, Eric was not just an educator but a mentor and someone who genuinely cared about the well-being of others. The fact that he was taken so senselessly while trying to help defuse a situation is truly shocking. I can't help but feel for those who were with him that night, particularly Arthur Hill's children. Witnessing such violence and losing two guiding figures must be unbelievably traumatic. It's good to know that the justice system took this case seriously, but I wish there had been no need for justice in the first place. It's a stark reminder of how quickly things can spiral out of control. Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight, everyone.
