Just came across the tragic case of Cortez Clements from October 2010, and my heart goes out to his loved ones. It's so tough to imagine the pain of losing someone, especially in such a violent way. What's been really troubling to learn is how stretched thin the police resources were back then. With so many cases on their hands and not enough resources, I wonder if many cases like Cortez's didn't get the attention they deserved. It's frustrating to think about how many families might still be waiting for justice. Really hoping that some day, more light can be shed on what happened and that his family gets the peace they desperately need. Anyone here have updates or insights on how Detroit handled such cases in later years? It’s crucial to keep the conversation going to prevent future tragedies.
