Has anyone looked into the weather conditions at the time Fanny Olanna and [name] were traveling by boat between Brevig Mission and Point Clarence? I remember reading somewhere that the weather can change pretty quickly in that area. It makes me wonder if maybe they encountered unexpected rough seas or maybe even a sudden storm. I’m no expert on boating, but I've heard it’s easy to get disoriented if the weather turns bad. Does anybody have more info or local knowledge about how quickly things can change out there? Any insights would be appreciated since it might help piece together what might have happened.
