Something's been really bothering me about Patrick’s case. I was looking at the route from Port Graham to English Bay or Seldovia, and it’s pretty apparent that weather conditions can be unpredictable in that area. Does anyone know if there were any weather warnings or rough seas reported around the time he went missing? I’m not familiar with how well those skiffs handle bad weather. It seems crucial to understand if bad weather could have played a role here. If anyone's local or has access to maritime weather reports for that time, it would be super helpful to get some insight. Thoughts or ideas on what else could have gone wrong?
Hey everyone, I've been following the discussion about Patrick and wanted to throw a thought out there. Has anyone considered the tides and weather conditions on the day he left Port Graham? That part of Alaska can be pretty unpredictable. A sudden change in weather might have thrown him off course, especially if he was alone and not super familiar with the borrowed skiff. I've read about tide schedules being tricky in that area, so maybe it's worth looking into historical weather data or tide charts from around the time he went missing. I know it's a long shot, but it might help us understand what could have happened to him. Thoughts?
I've been following Patrick's case, and I can't stop thinking about the weather conditions on the day he left Port Graham. I checked the historical weather data for that area around the time he disappeared, and it seems like the conditions might have been rough, with reports of high winds and choppy waters. Could this have played a part in why he and the skiff went missing? It's concerning that the skiff hasn't been found either. Hoping for answers soon.
