I've always been intrigued by the gaps in Ronald Aeschliman's timeline before he vanished. In particular, his visit to his father in California back in July 1979 stands out to me. It seems significant that he traveled all that way to ask for money, allegedly for a pregnant girlfriend. It makes me wonder about the circumstances surrounding that trip. Did his father notice anything unusual about Ronald's behavior during the visit? Given that Ronald became distant from his family around this time, it seems like there could be more to the story. Unfortunately, the lack of communication with his family after that visit leaves us with more questions than answers. Anyone else think this trip could be key to understanding his disappearance?

I’ve been going through old missing person cases and stumbled upon Ronald Aeschliman’s. The part that intrigues me is the visit to his dad in California. Does anyone else think that interaction might hold more clues than we realized? Like, why did he specifically go all the way to California to ask for money? It feels like such a big step. Maybe there was some sort of trouble he was in that made him need to travel that far? Given that his communication with his family dwindled soon after, I wonder if something happened during that visit that set things in motion. Just a thought, but it makes me wonder if we've overlooked something critical from that period. Would love to hear if anyone else has theories or info on similar cases!
