I was reading about Brian Davis’s case, and it’s really frustrating to see how his family has been left without answers for so long. I can’t imagine the pain they must be going through. It's not just about one case either—it's a pattern in Detroit with so many homicides still unsolved. I feel like the lack of resources for the Detroit Police Department is a huge part of the issue. They seem to be doing what they can with cold cases, but it just doesn’t seem fast enough. The community involvement aspect is interesting, though. Has anyone here heard of any recent efforts or initiatives to encourage witnesses to come forward? I know people can be scared or feel like it won’t make a difference, but every bit of information could be so crucial. If anyone has any insights or ways to help, it would be amazing to share and maybe encourage a bit more hope for families like Brian's who are still searching for justice.
