Hey everyone, I've been diving deep into some of Detroit's unsolved cases, and Kemon Miller's case has really caught my attention. It's incredibly tragic to think that he was just 27 when his life was unexpectedly taken, right after visiting his grandma's place on Sussex Street in December 2011. What's been haunting me is how this case reflects the wider issues the city faces with so many homicides still unresolved. It must be devastating for Kemon’s family, stuck in limbo for over a decade, hoping against hope for some kind of breakthrough. The lack of witness cooperation in this case is really troubling and is something that seems all too common in Detroit's unsolved cases from that time. It's like a vicious cycle — people are scared to come forward, and without them, justice stalls. The police department's Cold Case Unit is trying hard, I've read, employing new techniques and all, but it seems like an uphill battle when there's such a backlog. I can't even imagine the pain of waiting all these years without answers. If anyone around here has any recollections or info about that night or knows someone who might, sharing just that tiny bit could be crucial. Maybe together, we can keep this case from going cold forever. Sending strength to Miller's loved ones and everyone else waiting for justice.
