I came across the case of Tarrance Timmons while browsing through old news archives, and it really got me thinking. His murder hasn't received much media attention over the years, which is so frustrating. It's like his story got lost in the sea of other similar tragedies that happened in Detroit at the time. I can't even begin to imagine how hard it must be for his family and friends not to have any answers after all this time. It seems like Detroit's homicide resources were so stretched thin back then, and cases like Timmons' just fell through the cracks. I really hope that with the renewed efforts in looking at cold cases, there might be a breakthrough for him and other victims. If anyone knows more about any current efforts or advocacy groups that could help bring more awareness to his case, please share. Families deserve closure, and it's so important that we keep these stories alive and demand action.
