Hey everyone, I’ve been following the forum for a while and wanted to chime in on Reginald McFadden's case. It’s really troubling to think about the sheer number of unsolved cases piling up in Detroit during that time, and Reginald's tragic death just emphasizes how crucial it is for these cases to get more attention. One aspect that I find puzzling is the lack of witness cooperation. I get that in areas with high crime, people might be scared to come forward, but there has to be a way to offer more protection or incentives for witnesses, right? Sometimes it feels like fear and silence are almost as much of a barrier as finding new evidence. My thoughts go out to Reginald’s family and friends who must be desperate for answers. It's hard to imagine their pain knowing that justice hasn't been served yet. Hopefully, with more awareness and perhaps advancements in technology, these cold cases can start being solved. What do you all think could be potential solutions to encourage more community cooperation?
