I keep thinking about the impact Jerome's murder had on his family and the broader community. It's incredibly frustrating to know that so many cases like his remain unresolved. I know Detroit has struggled with a high crime rate for years, but each of these victims was loved by someone. It makes me wonder what more can be done. How can the community build trust with law enforcement to encourage people to come forward with vital information? Perhaps if more people shared their stories or experiences, it might shed light on what happened to Jerome and others in similar situations. My heart goes out to all those who continue to live without answers.
