I recently came across Gregory Lipsey's case again, and it's just so tough to think about what his family must still be going through. The article I read mentioned how 2012 was a particularly terrible year for homicides in Detroit, and it's alarming to see how many of these cases, including Gregory's, remain unsolved. The city's Cold Case Unit seems like a step in the right direction, but it must be so frustrating for families who have been waiting years for answers. I wonder if there might be people out there who saw something back then and don’t even realize how crucial their information could be. It seems like more public awareness might be key. How can we better encourage communities to come forward with information without fear or hesitation? My heart goes out to Gregory's loved ones as they continue to seek justice.
