Has anyone else been struck by how little information is available about the events leading up to the shooting that took Thomas Sims II’s life? It’s incredibly frustrating to think that his family and friends are left without the answers they deserve. I can’t even imagine how difficult it must be to cope with such a sudden loss. I really hope that someone out there has the crucial piece of the puzzle that will help the police move forward with this investigation. It’s clear that the community wants justice for Thomas and his loved ones. We should all be spreading the word and urging anyone who knows something, no matter how small it may seem, to come forward. Thoughts and prayers to everyone who is mourning. Let's hope for answers soon.
Can't stop thinking about how close the shooting was to such a populated intersection. W. Eighth Street and McPherson during the daytime isn’t exactly deserted. It’s baffling that someone could do something so brazen in broad daylight. My heart goes out to Thomas's family—I can't even imagine what they must be going through right now. It must be so upsetting for his kids, losing their dad like that. I hope someone who saw something will find it in them to come forward. The community needs answers, and his family deserves some peace in knowing justice is served.
