Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Leonard Banks' case, and it's been really sticking with me. What's particularly concerning is how his case appears to be one of many unsolved homicides lost in the shuffle back in 2012. That year was really tough on Detroit with the spike in crime, and it seems like Leonard's case didn’t get the attention it needed, just like so many others. It's frustrating to think about how limited resources and overwhelming caseloads made it so hard for law enforcement to solve these cases. I truly hope that Leonard’s family can find some peace and that the case will be reopened one day with fresh eyes. If anyone has any ideas on how cases like these can get more attention or resources, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Keeping Leonard and his loved ones in my thoughts.
I've been thinking a lot about Leonard Banks' case lately, especially in the context of Detroit's struggles with violent crime back in 2012. It's so frustrating to know that Leonard's murder is just one of many that year that went unresolved. It really highlights the immense pressure on law enforcement during that time, given the number of cases they had to deal with and the lack of resources they were facing.
Leonard was just 37 when his life was cut short, and I can't imagine what his family has gone through all these years without answers. The unsolved cases like his often don’t get as much attention as they deserve because of the overwhelming number they had to tackle. I truly hope that with new technology or renewed efforts, Leonard's case might eventually get the attention it needs for justice to be served.
If anyone has more context on what was going on in Detroit around that time, especially in terms of resources for investigating homicides, it would be enlightening to hear. It could help us understand why cases like Leonard's have remained unsolved and what can be done moving forward to ensure other families don't have to endure similar pain.
