Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Demaszio Cox's case and how it highlights some deep-rooted issues in Detroit's law enforcement approach during the early 2010s. One thing that's really been on my mind is the community's role in these investigations—or lack thereof. I can’t help but wonder if there was more encouragement or protection for witnesses back then, could this case and others like it have been solved? It's especially tough knowing Demaszio's family is still waiting for answers, and they're not alone. Just a thought, but maybe if the community felt safer or more supported in coming forward, it could make a real difference in making the city safer for everyone. I truly hope that with new initiatives and more awareness, we can start to see progress and justice for families like Demaszio's. Would love to hear your thoughts or any similar cases you’ve followed. Stay safe and take care. ?

I was recently thinking about the immense loss that Demaszio Cox's family must be feeling. Losing someone so young in such a violent manner is unimaginable. What stands out to me is the daunting task faced by the Detroit Police Department at the time. It's like they were caught between a rock and a hard place. On one hand, they had all these cases piling up, and on the other, they had limited resources to tackle them. It makes me wonder about the detectives working tirelessly with what little they might have. Stress and pressure must have been intense knowing there are families hoping for answers. Sending thoughts to Demaszio's family and hoping each step toward solving these cold cases brings them some semblance of peace. Is there more we in the community can do to support efforts or facilitate dialogue around these unsolved cases?

I've been following the Demaszio Cox case and it's just stuck with me how much the lack of community cooperation really impacts these investigations. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for Demaszio's family, knowing there might be someone out there with the information needed to bring them peace. It makes me think about how important it is for communities to feel safe and supported in coming forward. Without that, we're just leaving families in limbo and allowing the cycle of violence to continue. I really hope that increased community engagement efforts can start bridging that gap, even if it's a small step at a time.
