Has anyone looked into the connection between Lawrence Powell's case and the economic downturn that hit Detroit so hard in 2013? It's devastating to think that these social and economic issues might have played a role in the lack of resources and attention on his case, along with so many others. It's almost like the circumstances of the city just let too many people slip through the cracks, and it breaks my heart for all the families still waiting for answers. I wonder what more we can do to support those families and keep these stories alive. Thoughts?

I've been reading up on Lawrence Powell's case lately and something that's really weighing on me is the environment in Detroit back in 2013. It was such a tough period for the community. I mean, over 300 homicides that year is just staggering. The city was going through so much, with all that socioeconomic turmoil, it seems like the resources just weren't there to support law enforcement adequately. It's incredibly sad to think about how many families, like Lawrence's, are still left without answers. I hope that revisiting these cases with fresh eyes might bring some closure to his loved ones. If anyone local has more insights on what the community’s been doing to address these issues, I’d love to hear about it. It’s crucial to keep these discussions alive. Sending all my thoughts to those who continue to live with the loss and uncertainty.
