Has anyone else been following the case of Antine Crumbuy? I was reading up on it, and it’s so unsettling to see how many cases like this go unsolved in Detroit. I can't imagine the pain and uncertainty his family must be going through, waiting for answers for almost a decade now. It’s so frustrating to think that with better resources and cooperation, perhaps these cases could be moved forward.
I heard there have been some improvements in forensics lately. Maybe there’s hope for cases like Antine’s to get the attention they deserve? Really hope his family and others find some peace and answers soon. Would love to hear if anyone has insights or updates on efforts being made in Detroit to address these cold cases.
Has anyone else noticed the challenges the Detroit police face in solving cold cases like Antine Crumbuy's? It's frustrating to think about how much hard work the detectives put in with limited resources. It must be incredibly difficult for them, and even more so for families like Antine's, living with unanswered questions for years.
I’ve seen some discussions about how new forensic technologies could help, but are we seeing any real changes yet? It feels like there needs to be more support and funding for these units that are clearly overwhelmed with the volume of cases.
If anyone has updates on the efforts being made to tackle this backlog, especially any good news or signs of improvements, it would be great to hear. Keeping Antine’s family and other families in similar situations in my thoughts. They deserve answers and justice.
Hi everyone,
I've been following the case of Antine Crumbuy, who was tragically killed in Detroit back in 2013, and something that's really been on my mind is the impact that the geography of Detroit might have on these investigations. With the city having so many abandoned buildings and vacant lots, it seems like it must be really difficult for law enforcement to gather evidence or find witnesses, especially when incidents occur in more isolated or rundown areas.
Does anyone know if there have been any community initiatives to tackle this issue and maybe help the police with information? It's so tough to think about the families who are left waiting for answers in the midst of these challenges. I hope more spotlight on these issues can somehow bring about change or solutions.
Sending thoughts to Antine's family and everyone else waiting for justice. ?
